Next Steps
At Saint John Vineyard you'll find a number of ways to get involved in the life of our community. We don't take a one size fits all approach to connecting or spiritual growth. We have several on ramps designed to help people take the next step, whether they're just exploring the Christian faith, looking to grow in Christ-likeness, or wanting to get more involved. The following are some of those ways:

  1. Vineyard 101 - An informal class designed for newcomers who are interested in discovering more about our community over lunch.  Vineyard 101 explores our vision, mission and dreams for the future; it shares the history of our church and the larger Vineyard movement, and explains how you can get connected and involved in our community.
  2. Alpha - A ten-week course that consists of a series of talks geared toward people who do not consider themselves Christian, those who do not go to church, or Christians who want to learn the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life through the lens of Jesus.
  3. Baptism - Baptism is a way for a person to identify with Jesus in his death and resurrection and to go public with his or her commitment to follow Jesus.
  4. Pairs - A pair is two people who meet together to encourage each other as they follow Jesus. Pairs may use a variety of resources to facilitate their journey together.
  5. Groups - A group is gathering of 2 to 15 people that is intended to be a regular point of connection and an opportunity for growth. Groups can range from hobbies or interest-based to Bible studies
  6. Courses - A couple times a year we offer courses designed to help people grow. Courses cover a variety of topics (Bible, Theology, Spiritual Practices, Gift Discovery, etc.) and range from lecture style to more experiential or interactive lab environments.
  7. Volunteer - A simple way to experience community is to get involved in it. There are many opportunities to volunteer at Saint John Vineyard. When we volunteer, we invest our time, energy, talents and gifts to benefit others.
  8. Partners - Partners meet regularly to aid the lead pastor and leadership team in discerning vision and encouraging the ongoing development of our church.
